Cloud Security and the Shared Security Model of the public cloud
Due to the success of the group we have decided to move to a twice-a-month format. This will be our second October Meeting.
Meeting Topic: Barracuda Networks will present how customers can better secure their applications and workloads in the “shared security model” of the public cloud. Whether using Microsoft Azure or AWS, customers are responsible for securing their own data and applications in both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). This presentation will explain how Barracuda’s NextGen Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) can provide the necessary security to confidently deploy mission critical applications and workloads into the public cloud.
Presenter Bio: Tom McKenzie is a Cloud Security Account Executive at Barracuda Networks. He has worked at Barracuda for over 6 years and has helped customers to better secure their infrastructures both on-premises and in private and public clouds. He has a degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and has worked in the software business for over 25 years.
Refreshments will be provided by Vaco. Meeting space has been donated by Microsoft.
Remember the doors lock at 7PM so don't be late :-)
