    August meeting of NashFP!

    Agenda (so far)

    • Announcements (upcoming conferences, FP job openings,...)
    • Tim Pote: implementing a logic engine in Clojure
    • Tim Dunnington will talk about Big O Notation and Purely Functional Data Structures - We'll look at the basics of data structures and their performance characteristics. We'll also cover Big O notation for those who need a refresher or are new to the topic, and demonstrate a data structure in purely functional programming. Knowing me, I'll probably do that in Kotlin or Elixir.
    • FP Data structures lab: We will start with a basic binary search tree, and move on from there.
    • Your show-and-tell: (some suggestions)
      • We could revisit the Advent of Code, if someone's completed level 3 or beyond and wants to share the solution.
      • Toyed with a new language lately that you'd like to share?
