In this leadership role, he guides Nissan’s online messaging and brand stewardship through customer-facing and press-facing channels. He’s been with Nissan for 20 years, working in a variety of disciplines including sales, marketing, distribution and research.
Marx received his B.A. From Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., and earned his MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Chris Brashear is a Digital Marketing Strategist at Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC and leads strategy for the digital and social media marketing programs for the company’s two primary consumer tire brands: Bridgestone and Firestone. He is passionate about helping brands bridge the gap between their traditional marketing programs and the reciprocal relationship consumer demand from modern brands. Brashear has led the Bridgestone team in making its global brands accessible through digital since 2009 by pioneering the brands’ entrances into social media and building out the company’s presence in search, advertising and mobile. Today Bridgestone is a leader in demonstrating how a tire brand can leverage digital and social media to build its brands, connect with customers (B2C & B2B) and evolve into a “digital brand”.

Tony Grotticelli, Manager of Digital Content and Analysis at Universal Music Group, is a driven, Florida-born Sicilian with a passion for making a lasting difference in the music industry. Although his original intent on venturing to Nashville was to become a professional saxophonist, his career path has taken quite a different turn.
While still a student at Belmont University, Tony created his own entertainment branding and social media company, TOGA Entertainment, where he served as President. The company was active in the Nashville and New York entertainment scene for four years and created an impressive client list which included Fall Out Boy, Ben Folds, Keith Urban and many others. After TOGA Entertainment, Tony took a position with Capitol Record/EMI Music Nashville working in the marketing department and developing online strategies. He now is with Universal Music Group as Manager of Digital Content & Analysis and continues to work in the marketing and digital space.
Additionally, Tony has worked in conjunction with Orbison Records/Orbison Estate and Lytle Management Group, playing an integral role in the online and digital presences of recording artists Roy Orbison and Gary Allan to name a few.
Highly active in Nashville’s professional community, Tony is also a member of SOLID. He has also spoken at many universities and conventions nationwide including SXSW.

After a surreal 10-minute drive in 2010 after being laid off unexpectedly from his position at a web design firm, Jason Elkins and his wife, Michelle, spent the weekend talking, praying and spending time with their children. Then Michelle said something that would change his purpose for work and life - “Maybe now you will start that business you are destined to start. God told me that this was going to happen. He’s given me total peace. We are going to be fine and I believe in you.”
From that day forward, Jason has spent his time developing and creating a business from his passions. With a background in relationship building, technology sales and web design, Jason had a knack and fascination with social media and its impact on the business world. Jason developed Transparent, a digital marketing and consulting company helping businesses connect with their audiences through targeted social media strategies, marketing coaching, education and writing.
You can often find him at a local coffee shop sharing his expertise or in a social media training class educating others on how to use social media for business.
In addition to speaking at conferences and events, Jason is an adjunct faculty member at Belmont University, teaching marketing students about social media.
Jason has a strong standing in the business community of Nashville and surrounding areas. He is a member of the Tennessee Christian Chamber of Commerce and many other business groups across the Middle Tennessee. He and Michelle currently live in Hendersonville with their and son and daughter.
