WednesdayMay 18 2016Azure Resource Mananger/Desired State Configuration Hackathon Starter
For those of you who may not be aware of it there is now a new declarative infrastructure creation and management model: Azure Resource Manager (ARM). Unlike the old Azure Service Management model (ASM) this model, coupled with PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC), allows template-driven declarative specification and desired state definition of a complete Azure infrastructure. It is the modern way to work with Azure infrastructure and services.
At our May 18th meeting we will hold an
ARM/DSC Hackathon. This will be a joint meeting with the Nashville PowerShell User Group.
See http://www.nashazure.com for details and to register.
